XML
- THE UBIQUITOUS INFORMATION EXCHANGE PROTOCOL
The universal acceptance of XML as the way to
exchange information has paved the way for
interoperability. Because XML-enabled systems are so
widely available, legacy systems can now begin talking
to these other systems simply by adding an XML-based
service that does a translation between the legacy world
and the XML-speaking world.
